The Natural Vitiligo Treatment

Vitiligo is a skin disorder affecting between 65 to 100 million people worldwide. It is characterized by the appearance of white patches of skin occurring on various body parts, including on the face, feet, arms and genital region. These white patches arise because the melanocytes (the pigment-producing cells in the skin) are destroyed or stop functioning. Often, the patches are initially very small and then gradually increase in size – slowly over a number of years or rapidly in a matter of days.

Vitiligo Some Statistics:

Vitiligo treatments are among the most specialized and expensive forms of medical treatments.
The vitiligo therapeutics industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the medical sector – according to ASDReports.com, in 2011 vitiligo therapeutics brought in $1.4 billion and it is estimated that this market will grow to $2.7 billion by 2019.
Interestingly, there is no absolute medical cure for vitiligo, and even the most expensive therapies suffer from limited effectiveness .

In the early 1980s, a team of doctors and scientists published papers that documented that they had cured vitiligo in a group of patients using just a combination of vitamin supplements and herbal extracts. Similar research was published in the 1990s – for example, it was reported that a single herbal extract was effective at stopping the spread of vitiligo and curing it completely within weeks. Another study by a group of medical researchers documented that they had cured their patients of vitiligo in just a few weeks using only 3 vitamins at specific dosage regimens.
